Britt Harrison

I’m a Brooklyn-based artist and curator, originally from North Carolina. My work explores liminal space, temporal shifts, and water’s transformative power—its ability to purify, conceal, and reveal. Through custom-designed wood panels, ceramics, and oil paint, I build environments that invite you to slow down and step into that space where time feels fluid.

I grew up along a wide river that ran red with mud—a place that shaped my sense of transformation and the quiet rhythms of nature. My work carries that same feeling of suspended time, evoking the nostalgia of slow summer days and the serenity found in water and light.

All of the archival-quality prints in my shop are made from photographs of my original paintings. If you’re new to collecting, my tiny paintings are a more accessible way to support my work—each one a small, one-of-a-kind fragment of my larger series.
